home sweet home :: polaroid preview :: san francisco

we survived a very busy weekend up north and we had an absolute blast! here are a couple polas from our weekend. we say this all the time but SO many awesome things to show you guys. boudoir in the woods, santa cruz boardwalk, san francisco and the pride parade. it was a wonderful whirlwind weekend and we’re glad to be home, sweet home.

before we forget we wanted to share some of the amazing places we experienced while in san francisco – we highly, highly recommend every place – the service was amazing and food/drink spectacular. seriously. best. weekend. ever.

we stayed: the crescent hotel – a sexy boutique hotel in union square with gorgeous rooms and a swanky little bar called the burritt room. we recommend ordering a buddah’s fizz;)

we dined: don pistos is a fun little mexican/tapas restaurant in the north beach neighborhood. some of the best mexican we’ve ever had (and we know our mexican food) enjoy their sangria, ceviche and lively atmosphere.

we sipped:
savoy tivoli. clearly a very old bar in a very old building. tons of character. we went early and had the place to ourselves so bartender kyle made us a delicious cocktail made of muddled strawberries – it didn’t have a name so we dubbed it the “kyle special.” thanks kyle!

we sipped some more:
15 romolo in north beach was where we ended our evening. this bar had a great vibe, hipster bartenders (did you know 80% of bartenders in San Fran have mustaches? yep, it’s a fact) and super unique cocktails all made from fresh, local ingredients. our favorite was the “track 42″ which included honey vodka, egg whites (give it a shot) basil, apple juice and lemon.

thanks to friends (old and new) for showing us such a great time. see you soon!
