happy new year!

wow… what a year we have had! we can’t believe the places we got to go, the people we’ve met (who we now call friends), & all the crazy fun we’ve had along the way… we are two lucky gals!

to celebrate the end of 2011, here’s a little something we did last year that we thought we’d do again. we love that we get to end our wedding work days with a dance party & wanted to share some of the fun we have!

thanks to you all for making 2011 a great year for us and we’re looking forward to 2012! happy new year!

florida we heart you.  we had such an amazing time visiting you for karrie and tim’s wedding.  anna maria island you are so welcoming, your locals are so kind, your grouper so delish, your waters so blue and your sand so soft. we say this over and over again but we are beyond lucky to have this job.  how else would we have experienced this little gem?

we have had such an incredible year full of seriously amazing weddings.  how did we get so lucky?? we thought it would be fun to look back at some of the details at our weddings this year.  it’s fun to see some clear trends mixed in with traditional elements.  here are some of the bouquets that stood out to us this year.

 where do we even start with this wedding?? it was aaaaaamazing! karrie & tim got married on the charming little island of anna maria, florida… home of some of the nicest people we’ve ever encountered (and best grouper we’ve ever tasted!).  karrie had grown up going to this island as a kid, so it was the perfect spot for her & tim to tie the knot.  the two of them (who just radiate their love for each other), along with their amazing group of family and friends made this wedding so much fun for us to be a part of! the ceremony was beautiful…held on the white sand beach right in front of the home where the reception took place. this wedding was so full of color & charm!  make sure you check out enna/anne - they did such an amazing job on the florals & design! we loved every detail they dreamed up!
